This is the finished decking, we had to concrete support posts into the ground to support the frame, we then built the decking frame which was raised of the ground by 2ft. we then built steps leading up to the decking and finally added the decking boards.
We then installed the new decking level with the shed door, we then laid the new stone surrounding the decking area, we then built a retainer either side of the path to separate the types of stone, we used 20mm gravel on the outside and purple slate on the inside and also added a few stepping slabs leading up to the decking.
This is the completed job, as you can see we installed the new decking onto the frame and got it nice and level from the back door so there wasn’t much of a step down.
We then installed fresh top soil to fill up the gap around the sleeper wall and got the garden level ready for the new turf, we then laid the new turf and it transformed the garden.
We also installed new fencing around the garden.
We then had to build a frame for the decking to be built off, using 4×2 lengths of wood we built a solid frame, we had to raise it off the ground by a half a meter to get it level with the back door.
